General Conditions 

Mares will be stabled under exceptionally good condition. All horses will be stabled in boxes, if not otherwise prearranged. All boxes are with automatic watering and crib. Exercise of the mare can be prearranged. Insemination, stabling and exercise of the mare is at owner's risk.

At acute illness a veterinary will be called at the owner's own expense, and in such cases the owner will always be contacted as soon as possible, in other cases only if prearranged with the owner.

The mare will be tested with teaser stallion.

The insemination price for insemination at Viegård with fresh semen includes insemination cost. After insemination at Viegaard with frozen semen a follicle control will be performed, this and the insemination is at owner's account.
 
Days of collecting semen: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Cooled semen can be ordered all tapping days until 10.00 and will be delivered as fast as possible. Semen send by mail must be paid by the mare owner. The first rate includes 3 semen portions. After that a fee of Dkr 500,- will be charged at the mare owner's account.

Follicle control will be made by scanning or by hand.
Clean swap test is demanded on all barren mares.
Semen is currently controlled of the stallion. Insemination with frozen semen can appear under international competition.

The mare owner is obliged to inform about the mare's health, identity and heat cycle, And to advise of any illness that may be relevant to the mare's well being and possibility to get pregnant. 

Viegaard comply with the lines of direction by the official Danish office for horses (Landskontoret For Heste)for authorised stallion stations. 

The breeding season length - is the period that the stallion/semen is available - can be informed by the stallion station.
Payment:
1. Payment at the insemination 
2. Payment after 90 days

Daily price for stabling: 70,- Dkr.

All prices are excl. VAT and in Dkr. 
The Stallion and offspring can be shown according to arrangement.
